Do no have permission to access USB flash drive

You don't currently have permission to access this folder. Click Continue to permanently get access to this folder. If you came across this unusual error while trying to access a pen drive, you might be using an HP computer. Turns out that the HP Client Security application that comes preinstalled on HP devices (in my case HP PRODESK) blocks USB access. Here is how I resolved the issue: From the taskbar, right-click the HP Client Security icon and click Open HP Client Security Manager . Go to Device Permissions . If UAC prompts, click Yes . Toggle the Use Device Access Manager to control access to this device option. The steps may differ based on the application version. This resolved the issue for me straight away.
