Windows 10 not detecting ViewSonic monitor over HDMI

What to do if your Windows 10 computer cannot detect ViewSonic monitor over HDMI and shows the "no signal" error?

 The following remedies may not work:

  • Connecting the monitor via VGA.
  • Switching the projecting through Win Key + P
  • Restarting the computer. 
  • Using a different HDMI cable. 
  • Re-plugging the cables

Solution: Connect your monitor to a different device and ensure your monitor receives the signal. And then, disconnect from that device and connect it to the device you prefer. 

That somehow reminded the monitor of its job. 

In my case, I connected it to the IP TV receiver. It could be a different computer or your XBOX or satellite receiver.

Sri Lankan “free” education & “free” health ; a boon or a curse?

Countries like Korea, Malaysia and Singapore are well above Sri Lanka in terms of economic prosperity. Sri Lanka had the same initial conditions belonged to those afore mentioned countries. If you thought that this blog post is a negative, complaining rant about the cussed behaviour of Sri Lankan bus conductors, you will find me irritating (or wise) at the end of this post. Sri Lankan bus conductors are often criticized for treating passengers as goods and not returning change, among many other 'bad' traits. Is it always true? Are we being judgy? Maybe we should put ourselves in the slippers of a bus conductor to step into the world of bus conducting.
